Rock Garden-Calhoun

The Rock Garden is a super cool little attraction located in Calhoun, Georgia, right being the Seventh Day Adventist Church. It is a free attraction that you can walk through at your leisure. There are so many buildings and walkways and walls and bridges made of rocks that you can view. Featured in the garden are the cathedral of Notre Dame, the Colosseum, the Japanese Himiji Castle, and so much more. We were very surprised at the amount of things there was, and how big they were. I was expecting everything to be a bit smaller, but some of them were big enough that a small child could get under. The bridges and walkways were big enough that you could actually walk on them, and there is a wall one that you can go in and sit on a bench. The whole garden is just beautiful. They keep the grounds very nice and there are beautiful flowers and bench'es and even a swing and gazebo if you would like to sit. In autumn, the garden has a lighting ceremony where the castles and other buildings are lit up be candlelight. That would be so awesome to see! Some of the little buildings even had a few small pieces of furniture and people. But seeing some of those castles all lit up at night would be spectacular!
