Hamburg State Park

Unfortunately, I can't write too much about this park because we did not camp here. We came to visit when we stayed at AH Stephens. This park was small but cute. We were excited to see the mill. It was not open to tour when we were there, which we would have loved to do. But we were able to walk around it. It was very cool to see. There is a lake here, but you can't swim in it because there are alligators. We didn't get to see any but there are signs about them. There is a campground that you can camp but the lake. We brought a small lunch and was going to have a picnic by the lake and let the kids play on the playground. However, the day use area, where the playground sign was, featured no playground. It was just bathrooms and a picnic shelter. So after touring and walking around the mill, we didn't really stay too long. If you're looking for a very quiet, very slow type camping experience, this would be a good park. But if you want more like swimming, putt putt, etc., this wouldn't be the best one.

Overall:
