Hardman Farm is a beautiful little homestead that you can tour, located just on the outskirts of Helen. The Sautee Nacoochee Indian Mound is located right across from the farm, so it's very easy to find. I highly recommend touring this beautiful place if you are in the area. We love touring old houses like this. No matter how many times we have been, we still always tour the Historic Square at Stone Mountain because we just love these historic houses. Anyway, we went for their Victorian Christmas that they put on every year. People dress up in period clothing and the house is all decorated for Christmas. It is lovely. They also have a Santa and s'mores. I believe it cost about $15 per person for that event, but it would normally be $13 per adult, $8 per youth (6-17). I have included a couple of pictures below of what the inside of the house looks like, as it has all authentic furniture in it, as well. There is also a barn and carriage house that you get to tour. You do have to park up at the top of a hill and then walk down quite a bit of stairs, so it is not very handicap accessible. I'm not 100% sure if there was another entrance for the handicap, so that may be something to call and ask about if needed. But overall, beautiful site, and we would love to go back during their Victorian Christmas event.
