What a cute little historic park! Located in Lincolnton, GA on Clark Hill Lake, this cute little gem of a park has a lot to do. We stayed in a cabin over spring break and we got to overlook the lake. The park has a playground, a swimming beach, a boat launch, putt putt (with a cute little replica of the Elijah Clark cabin), a campground, cabins and hiking trails. We loved having a little picnic by the cabins. It was a bit too cold to swim when we were there, but we still enjoyed playing on the beach and the playgrounds. There was plenty to do for kids, while still being a very quiet and peaceful stay. You are able to tour the little house of Elijah Clark, and we would have loved to, but there are certain times that tours are scheduled, so you need to check ahead when those times are, but we felt the price for each person was a bit much for what it was. I think it was like $7 per person, which is a bit much for a little house.

Cabins:
At the time of our stay (2022), the cabins were a bit rustic but super cute. I only say that because GA is really going through the parks redoing their cabins, so I can only imagine they will update these. We loved it just the way it was. We had a two bedroom (two beds each) cabin with a full bath, full kitchen, tv, AC and heat, and a lovely screened in porch. Each cabin has its own grill, fire pit and picnic table. When we stepped out of our cabin one morning, a whole hoard of ducks came by and we fed them some bread. One of them bit my finger! The only downside to the cabins were that there is really not a lot of space between them, so if you're looking for a lot of privacy, this isn't it.
